After Prime Minister’s farewell dinner to the outgoing President, Members of Parliament have scheduled to give farewell at 5:30 pm on Sunday. The function would be organised at the Central Hall of Parliament. Lok Sabha speaker, Sumitra Mahajan along with the present MPs and countable former Parliamentarians would address the outgoing President, Pranab Mukherjee.

Narendra Modi got emotional while giving a speech and resembled Pranab Mukherjee as his father figure. While Sumitra Mahajan along with other members would address the President, it is said that he would be respected with a memento and a book signed by all the MPs. The Lok Sabha speaker on the other side is reported to gift him a specially designed shawl.  The speech would be inscribed on a silk cloth that would be embossed with West Bengal’s art form. The gifts of the outgoing President would be packed by boxes designed by artisans of Uttar Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.

On Saturday, Prime Minister organised a dinner for Pranab Mukherjee at Hyderabad House in New Delhi. The farewell was attended by the elect-President Ram Nath Kovind and the Vice President Hamid Ansari. Being a supreme leader of the Indian Armed Forces, he was given a farewell by the chief’s of staff committee at Manekshaw centre on Friday. Pranab Mukherjee was addressed respectfully by every senior officer in the organised function.

After the retirement he would abode in 10 Rajaji Road, which is all set again to host the outgoing President. The eight-rooms and two storey villa has already been a resident for many former President like APJ Abdul Kalam. Expanded in an area of  11,776 sq feet, the walls of the villa has been repainted with a changed set of furniture. It is being reported that the 10 Rajaji Road is designed sober where a large space is constructed for a personal library.

The new resident would welcome the outgoing President on July 25, when Ram Nath Kovind would be finished with the welcoming ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan. After completion, the elect President would escort Pranab Mukherjee to his new home.
