On Tuesday morning a four storey building in Mumbai suburb Ghatkopar crashed down while killing seven people including a baby. The building is said to be a property of a politician in Shiv Sena. After the collapse, Mumbai Mayor has already ordered for an inquiry.

As per the officials, there was more than a dozen of people under the debris but many of them were rescued with the help of locals and fire brigade team. After a relentless effort made by the team, seven people including a baby were reportedly died. As per the police, the building had a nursing home in the ground floor and was a home for 12 families. Though the nursing home was shut down 2 months ago, a Congress politician blamed the owner and asked the officials for his arrest.

It is reported that the building building was illegally constructed. Though Mumbai Mayor Vishwanath Mahadeshwar is linked to Shiv Sena, he assured that the culprits won’t be spared.
