The Chinese company, Gionee has announced the launch of Gionee A1 Plus on Tuesday. The manufacturers have already released its predecessor Gionee A1 late in March 2017 and is now available via retailers and Amazon the upcoming gadget is expected to be in the hands of customers from July 26. Though the officials still have not specified its availability through online interested customers can purchase it from their nearest Gionee showrooms and local retailers.
Being listed among the few models of Gionee A series, the users of Gionee A1 are satisfied with the long lasting battery and outstanding selfie experience. Featuring both the qualities in the latest model, it sports 18W ultra-fast charger that is capable to fully charge the battery with two hours. Gionee India has decided to give away two years extended warranty with the device.
Available in Mocha Gold and black colour variants Gionee A1 Plus has a price tag of Rs 26,999. Although the price is relatively high as compared to the Gionee A1 which costs Rs 19,999 the claims to give 60GB Jio data to the users who register the device on Jio network. The additional data will only be provided with a recharge of Rs 309 or above. The users would also be benefited with a Paytm gift voucher worth Rs 500.
Installed with Android 7.0 Nougat Gionee A1 Plus flaunts a display of 6 inch having a pixel density of 1080×1920 pixels. The device is powered by MediaTek Helio P25 octa-core SoC clocked at up to 2.6GHz coupled with 4GB of RAM. Having an internal storage of 64GB users can expand it up to 256GB through microSD card. The gadget has a battery unit of 4550mAH.
On the photography front, it features 13 megapixel rear camera, f/2.0 aperture with a 5 megapixel fixed focus centre. The selfie camera flaunts a 20 megapixel lens with an aperture of f/2.0. Sported with a selfie flash the model has rear flash module and IR remote control sensor.
The connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, Micro-USB with OTG support, and a 3.5mm headphone jack coupled with sensors like accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope and proximity sensor.
